Massage TherapyGenerally, massage is a relaxing experience that feels good. At times a treatment of a tight muscle or treatment on a painful injury may at first cause some slight discomfort which will lessen after a few minutes. The hand pressure that I apply is suited to your comfort level and does not go beyond what you tell me is ok for you. The idea of massage is to relax and aid the body's healing process, not to cause you pain or discomfort.
General benefits of a session are:Depending upon your needs, I can provide relaxation massage, therapeutic massage or a combination of the two. I have also added the Art of Cupping as a new therapeutic modality, good for both relaxation and toxin release.

Frequency and length of treatment depends on how long you have had the injury, the severity of the injury and how your body responds to the massage treatment. You may need a massage twice a week for several weeks to reduce pain levels and start your recovery. After that, your treatments will reduce in frequency until you reach your level of recovery and only need a massage to maintain your body's good functioning ability.
As long as you have the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) coverage, your auto accident will be covered in full for massage therapy. For a Labor and Industry claim, (work related injury), there will be no out of pocket expense, but you will have to have a doctor's referral for the massage therapy treatments in order for the bills to be paid.
